Nursing is a diverse and multifaceted profession that requires a wide range of skills. Some common skills that are important for nurses to possess include:

Communication: Nurses must be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members, both orally and in writing.

Critical thinking: Nurses must be able to analyze and evaluate information, make sound judgments, and solve problems in a fast-paced and often complex environment.

Clinical skills: Nurses must be proficient in a variety of clinical skills, such as administering medication, performing wound care, and taking vital signs.

Leadership: Nurses may often be in charge of coordinating care for a group of patients and may need to lead a team of healthcare professionals.
