Article Critique/Bibliography Card

The article critique/bibliography card is a summary of a full text research article from a referenced professional journal on your assigned topic. Students are expected to utilize the LRC Infotrac when obtaining this information. The research article must have been published within the past 5 years. Article critiques that are from non-professional journals and/or do not meet the criteria listed below will not be graded and will automatically clinical grade of Unsatisfactory. The article critique and bibliography card is a synopsis of a full-length research article on the required topic, taken from a reputable professional publication and containing citations. When searching for this information, it is requested of the students that they utilize the LRC Infotrac. The research article that will be used must have been published no more than five years ago. Article critiques that are not sourced from professional journals or that do not satisfy any of the requirements outlined below will not be scored and will be assigned an automatic clinical grade of Unsatisfactory.

The article critique must be typed and utilize the Help write my thesis – APA format and submitted to the dropbox in Word Document format.
• One full page in length(1000 word min)
• Times New Roman font, size 12
• Double spaced

The following information must be included:
• Student’s Name
• Date
• Article Reference Information (Submit a copy of the article or a copied link to the article with your summary — the article must be within the past 5 years)
• Summary of Article
• How this information impacts nursing practice

A copy of the article must be submitted in the drop box along with the bib card/article critique or you may include a direct link with your summary.

The article critique is a clinical requirement. A grade of satisfactory or unsatisfactory will be given.

PLAGIARISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL RESULT IN AN UNSATISFACTORY GRADE AND AN AT RISK.
