Advanced practice nurses use clinical reasoning to address concerns across health care settings and across the life span. This course provides foundational competencies necessary for the advance practice nurse use of a variety of theories and frameworks, including nursing and ethical theories in the analysis of clinical problems, illness prevention, and health promotion strategies.
