Digital Footprints and the Web
Domain names.
A personal domain name can consist of the user’s actual name or the content to be discussed when hosting a personal website or a fully-fledged blog (Vishwakarma, 2017). I could use the possible domain names, such as RobinsonCusoe.com, LifeExperiences.com, CusoeLifeHacks.com, RobinsonPersonalLife.com or ThisIsMe.com. I could also use a personal domain name to redirect it to a merged site. Using the FirstNameLastName.com in coming up with a domain name to brand myself should be a necessary step.
Content Management System (CMS)
Before creating a website, I should choose a content management system applicable to the website to organize, create, edit, and publish content. Several CMS are WordPress, Joomla, Magneto, and square space, among others (Patel, Rathod & Prajapati, 2011). the most applicable CMS to use in this case is WordPress since it allows users to access their documents, files, design fully, and display their content.it also manages content in a single computer. There is no technical know-how involved.
Hosting services
Apart from the cost of hosting services, Uptime and load time are factors considered when choosing a web host. The first web host I would prefer is the Bluehost, which is now hosting about three million websites (30+ hosts speed & Uptime reviewed, 2020). It is the most common due to its low-cost hosting option for beginners. Bluehost uptime and speed are very strong of 99.99 percent and four hundred and five MS, respectively. It comes with features like a free domain name, website builder and WordPress installment, therefore fully recommended by WordPress.org.
The basic plan also includes unmetered bandwidth and fifty GB storage. It is reliable and secure. The second web host is HostGator hosting up to over two million websites. It has a strong uptime of 99.99 percent and speed that is above the average of three hundred and ninety-nine Ms. It has various features such as unmetered bandwidth and disk space, the unlimited email account, a free domain that lasts all year and installation of WordPress is made very easy.
Email provider and blogs to follow
It is easy to get hold of the best email service providers. Some of the best email service providers include Google, Microsoft, among others. The best email address that I would use in my domain is google, for instance, myname@gmail.com (Alvaro, 2016). If I were to think about my future professional life as a fitness enthusiast, Some of the blogs I would follow are like, https://nerdfitness.com/blog/ which talks about what a person should be doing when not training, https://sylviafitness.com/ which gives a virtual workout plan for online users, https://www.timberwolffitness.com/ which offers nutrition coaching, https://hallardfit.com/ which gives a workout plan that is fun and innovative, and https://bodybybartek.com/ which gives a meal plan for people on a diet.
Podcasts
Some of the podcasts related to health and fitness are such as https://podcasts.apple.com/podcast/fat-burning-man-show-by-abel/id501575043 which talks about real foods that produce real results, and https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hurdle/id1330434098?mt=2 , which talks about leaning into wellness as an outlet through hard times. Examples of blog posts that I would write about include health and nutrition, professional development or interior design (Jackson, 2018).

My blogs
In health and nutrition, I would give a topic like Diet and Work out. In the blog, I would talk about a workout plan, the right diet to be used, and supplements required by each body type. About professional development, I would call my blog a career guide where I would write about myself, how to choose a career that best fits my interests and the resources required. The third blog about interior design, I would give it a topic like Robinson Interiors, my name should be identified with my work. I would talk about different trends and how they change with seasons.
