DQ 11: Concept relevant to your nursing practice
Choose a concept relevant to your nursing practice [present or future]. Following the guidelines given in Chinn & Kramer [Chapter 7], analyze the concept and develop cases: model, contrary, related, and borderline. The paper length should not exceed 10 pages. Choose an idea that applies to your nursing practice, either now or in the future. Using the guidelines in Chinn and Kramer [Chapter 7], analyze the idea and come up with four cases: model, opposite, related, and borderline. It shouldn’t be longer than 10 pages.
Criteria for concept analysis paper:
Identification of Concept points (20 points)
Background & significance of concept. Assignment help – Discuss the meaning of the concept as used in 3 theories [1 should be a nursing theory.] Incorporate relevant research that has been conducted. Assignment help – Discuss why this concept analysis is necessary for nursing
Aims of this analysis (5 points)
Definitions (10 points)
Provide definitions for concepts& other term used, including operational definitions as appropriate
Development of cases (30 points)
Provides cases: Model, contrary, related & borderline (30 points)
Tentative Criteria (15 points)
